Make sure the intake is properly seated and there are no leaks between the filter and mass air flow sensor. It takes a while for the computer to reset and adapt to the added air flow and can cause undersirable running isues untill it is fully adapted to the change you made. Try changing back to the stock air filter assembly and see if the jerk goes away. If it does you will know its related to the change you made, if not its time to start hunting down other possibilities, go through the basics --> check the plugs wires ect.., fuel pressure, have the car scaned by a high quality scanner while driving the car during the hickup you get to see if there is a sensor failling. Good luck hope this helps

Is the jerky feeling during a shift? When you take your foot off the pedal does the car downshift? Did you put an intake on a automatic car? Sounds like a trans issue if it is during a shift. Otherwise it might be that the new air system is pushing too much or too little air in and you are almost stallingthe car.
