My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half. In the beginning, we were apart alot but we had a good sex life. He moved in with me about 8 months ago. Now, I don't find myself wanting it much anymore. I still love him very much. I'm 29 (he's 19) and this has happened in every other long-term relationship I've had (2 others) after about the same amount of time. Am I just getting bored with my sex life, or could it be something more serious?

i don't think it's serious. i went through the same phase last year just after i moved in with my partner of 2 years. I think it's just that it's not such a novelty to be with him as it was in the beginning when you spent a lot of time apart. you get used to thing like seeing him naked, and they don't have the same sexual meaning for you as they had before.

I would advise you to speak to him about it if it's bothering you, but it wears off. at least it did for me

Hope that helps!

Its probably because you know its always there,
Where as while you are apart, You really want it
because its the only time you get a chance.

Womeans sexual peak is late 30's early 40's

a mans apparently is 17-23 loL!

Plus when you live with someone, Its all VERY different.

I wouldnt worry, but you could try spicing up your sex life a bit.
No harm there,

all the best.

Long answer made short- sometimes the more you we learn about people, the less we become 'attracted' to them. I know it seems backwards, but it's true.

Women are mental and men are more physical. Therefore, if there is even one thing we discover something that we don't like about a man we can become no longer physically attracted to them. It happened to me and my children's father once we moved in together. A guy can be hot as hell when there's some mystery about him, but when you see him on the edge of the bed biting his toenails- sheesh!

It works both ways too. Guys don't want to see us with our hair curlers in our head and avocado mask spread on our faces. Often times we think co-habitating will make the relationship better, but it ends up having the opposite affect.

Sweetie it happens. After the initial 'Honeymoon' phase has passed where you cant keep your hands each other it does gradually slow down. You also live together now so your always seeing each other and they do say that absence makes the heart grow fonder but yeah it happens. Try and spice it up a bit if your worried. Try new ideas, suprise hoim..see what happens. Good luck.

Why are you dating a guy who's only 2/3 of your age? Is it a mommy thing? Are you getting bored with him because he doesn't fit your expectations of someone who wants to be mothered and controlled?

Familiarity does affect sex life. But on the good side, it strengthens relationships.

every relationship cools off in the bedroom after awhile. he being so much younger than you he might not be ready to have it cool down though. might want to talk to him about it before he goes out and finds someone who is interested in having as much sex as he is.

Well, your labido is getting low, you are OLD compared to him. A 19 year old is like a rabbit and you just can't keep up. How about finding someone your own age and then you won't feel like this becuse his sex drive would have aged as well.
