if its the side with the garbage disposal then I would get a lemon or an orange, cut it up and run it through the disposal. Then your sink will smell a lot better. If its on the other side, undo the Trap underneith and dump the old food out. then run some bleach or draino through it. Either one should get rid of that lefover stench!

I use baking soda, vinegar and hot water to unclog my drains once a month. The vinegar makes the baking soda bubble and the hot water helps to dissolve the crud. It is much safer to use than those chemical drain cleaners.
