I am a little lost here. A month ago I went to my doctor, she took some blood and told me to see a gyn due to hormones. No emergency or anything. So I made an appointment last month, asked if my medical records, test results etc were sent, if they had them or needed me to get them. I even checked back and they assured me they would get them. Now it is the day before the appointment and they still don't have them, I called my GP [the one who referred me] and they still have not sent them and the gyn office said they can't figure out how to find the file - they weren't sent etc. I have politely called both places a few times.
Would you go or find another doctor? I am a little worried about going there now.

Personally, I would get the test results of my blood work from the Dr. who took them in person. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, you've been nice and patient, now it is time for action. Then, I believe I would find a new Gyn to see, one who is recommended highly by someone you know maybe but I don't think I would spend any time with a Gyn office who can't or will not assist me in getting my medical records when I am scheduled to see them. What are they going to go on, blind faith? Go get your records and find a new Gyn!!!
Hope this helps. Trust your instincts, they are usually right!!

Go back to your GP and be stern. Make an official complaint if necessary.

Find another doctor, they seem too unorganized!
