How do I write a short story?

the story is funny and alot of details are in it, very descriptive and it's base on real life.

Since you already know what your subject is remember this little rule for writing any story:
Tell them what you are going to tell them (the beginning)
Tell them(the body of your story)
Tell them what you told them(the summation and the end.)

Just sit down and write it down. Get it on paper, then make corrections, etc. Can't do anything until it's written down

start with "once upon a time" and with "happily ever after"
