I had a Friend who was pregnant and started bleeding. she went to the hospital they took a sample of blood and said that she was having a miscarriage. They gave her a shot to stop it.. And she had a healthy baby girl. So i would say that it happens right away.

I don't think that you 'know for sure' that you've had a miscarriage ... I think that you are 'scared' that you've had a 'miscarriage' and are not having a 'regular period' because your bleeding is 'a bit heavy' and is lasting 'longer than normal.' I CAN NOT tell you. ONLY A DOCTOR can tell you what is 'happening' with your body, and if your 'bleeding' has gone on more than two days 'longer' than your usual period, or if it has been 'SUBSTANTIALLY HEAVIER' (three times as much blood or more) then you should go see a doctor 'immediately.' Go to an ER if you can't see your regular doctor today. You may be given a 'd and c' but you may not ... even if you've had a 'miscarriage.' YOU CAN NOT GET CANCER if you are not 'cleaned out' ... and you probably won't get 'infected' either ... but you still need to go 'see a doctor' and FIND OUT WHAT IS 'WRONG' with you IMMEDIATELY. Turn off your computer now and GO OUT THE DOOR!
