Highly doubtful. That is NOT to say he won't be more than serviceable, but he has superstar potential. Very few hitters can attain that status in their 1st year. That doesn't mean at all that he isn't a potential all-star. But he will be at his best a couple years down the road, and possibly for a long time following.

I really like Carl Crawford, his offense has improved each year and he has been the best corner OF in MLB since he came up(YES, even better than Ichiro)
Baldelli when he's healthy is a very good all round player
Kazmir made a big jump last year, though he did give up more HR's per 9 innings last year. Too bad he missed so many starts.
Delmon Young - Has potential, but he has to learn patience, 1 walk in 130+ TPA just is not going to cut it. I have not checked in the past 2 days but the last time I did he only had 1 walk all spring, so it does not look like he has learned yet. IF he can stay out of trouble and learn to be more selective at the plate he has a big up side.

Delmon Young is ready to breakout this year... his time spent in the Majors last year gave him the experience and know how to adjust to the game at the major league level... While his numbers will not reach their peak this year... he will definely put up some nice stats.. I'm thinking a .300 BA, 25 HRs, and 25 SBs... although I wouldn't be surprised if he did better than that...

I'm sad to say as a baseball fan that he never will. I just don't think has the most important tool. The heart of a winner, it's not because he plays for Tampa it's because his head is just not in it.

Nooo wayy. When Delmon Young hits his prime, itll be a thing of beauty. But he will take a few years for that to happen. Remember, big time young players like Pujols never blossomed their best years till about the age 27

He has plenty of potential, but he's still not ready to take the lead for the Devil Rays. In all honesty, I think that he's still too immature to handle playing with the big boys right now. If he gets his head on straight, he'll be a very good player, perhaps even a legendary one.

He may need one year at the MLB level before he "busts out", Major League pitching is a new level that he may need time to adjust to.
We can also hope that his temper does not get in the way of his extra-ordinary talent.

the only baseball players that play to their full potential are those on the way up - once they get the big contract they ease off
