I really don't think that most people who sell on EBAY are trying to harm anyone... I have bought and sold many things on EBAY including food, clothing, electronics and lots of other stuff and I have never had a problem...
When it comes to baby formula be sure to buy from a reputable seller, and be sure to ask questions about the expiration date.
When you receive your item over carefully to be sure it wasn't tampered with in any way... I check over the food I buy in the grocery store too...
If there is a problem just file a complaint with ebay... They will help resolve the issue and get your money back if need be...

My sister frequently used to buy formula off of eBay. I think it is totally safe. It is usually just from mothers who are involved in the WIC program (gives free formula) and they just have leftover. My sister did the same thing. As long as the cans are sealed I don't see any problem with it.

No, its not safe to buy that off E-bay are you kiddin me.....You are better off going on the internet and finding coupons to buy it.... There are some things that you can purchase off E-bay, your baby formula just is not one of them.

As safe as it is to buy formula anywhere. Do you have any idea how many formula recalls there are?

Sure. If it's sealed. I never have, but I see that people, nurses who work w/ peds, get the samples for free and are wanting to make some money.

If you're really worried about safety, I'd stick to the breast. Always fresh, never recalled, always perfect temperature, and adjusts to your baby's needs.
