At this point, it is believed by Mark Sheldon of MLB.com that Josh Hamilton will make the club. He is a Rule 5 pick, so if the Reds deide that he won't make the club, then he becomes the property of his previous team, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Typical Yankees fan - doesn't know a thing about other teams. Sorry, back to the answer. He should, especially with such fragile bodies as Griffey and Freel around as some of his opposition. He has been impressive in spring training, and unless the Reds want to give up a former #1 pick who is just beginning to scratch his potential, he HAS to make the roster. But in typical Reds fashion, he may end up back in Tampa Bay.

He is a decent player, my Cubbies got him in that Rule 5 Draft thing and traded him to the reds for cash.

he has the potential since he was a No.1 pick, if griffey is still hurt, definitley, ut i see him filling the 25th man slot or he will start everyday down in AAA

I think he is going to make the team. He has performed really well this spring and could earn the 4th outfielder spot on the roster.

Josh is a Rookie and a little time in the farm system will hone his skills. He is hitting spring training pitching now. That is nothing like regular season pitching. Everyone has to pay their dues first.
