There are a a lot of factors some which have been scientifically proven and others doctors believe may have reason. The main reason is chromosome abnormalities. This happens when they baby doesnt develop properly and the body ends what it knows wont survive. Other factors are stress *first trimester*..drinking,smoking,drug abuse. Sometimes heavy lifting can cause an early miscarriage as well. Trauma to the womans body whether it be to the stomach or not, some women have problems within themselves that cause recurrent miscarriages that need to be ruled out by a doctor...

A miscarriage just sometimes happens. Nothing that you did will cause it. Well, I guess you might have a miscarrage is you were taking a lot of drugs or something, but nothing a normal person does should cause a miscarrage.
