Have you ever vacationed in The Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee? There is hiking, horseback riding, water rafting; Dollywood is in Pigeon Forge (about 5 miles from Gatlinburg which is the last little town before the GSM National Park). as well as music dinner theaters, museums, etc. Look online - I think you will be impressed.

I agree with Beckers. Head to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge in Eastern TN. The Smoky Mountains are beautiful. There is plenty to do whether you want to go hiking, swimming, or riding go-carts.

You should look at staying in one of the beautiful and historical cities in the Southeast. Savannah or Charleston would be good options.
