They apparently can't see anything wrong with 100s of thousand deaths in the Middle East.

Katrina was a 'by the way' and people should have saved themselves.

Less fortunate, old and sick Americans should fend for themselves.

They only seem to care about their stock accumulation.

First off, We're not killing hundreds of thousands of people. We're trying to ensure that they have the same freedom of speech that you so eagerly abuse on message boards with your uneducated assumptions. It's amazing how much people are criticizing Bush for trying to help another country, completely forgetting the fact that when we were fighting for our independence from Great Britian that it was FRANCE who helped us. But, I guess trying to do the same for others that was done for us would require us not to be selfish for 5 minutes, which is more than some Americans are willing to do.

Secondly, what idiot sees that a hurricane is headed your way, is warned to leave the area, and then abandons common sense believing they're above nature and its effects? Honestly, if you're stupid enough to stay there, you should be banned from procreating and spawning anything else with a lowered mental capacity. What happened with Katrina was that their governor screwed up and the city flooded, impacting thousands of people who were either too lazy or too proud to leave the area in the first place. THEN, it's turned into a friggin race issue! I understand that some people are poor and it would have been hard to leave, but at some point people have to quit being victims to their circumstances and do what needs to be done to survive.

And Lastly, why shouldn't americans be saving their own money for retirement? Social Security is a blotched system because all the money that is sucked out of you on your way to old age isn't really given back to you. People need to be storing up an inheritance they can pass on to their children, but Social Security doesn't really do that.

Questions like this are proof that many people are too ignorant to really have an oppinion. Use some common sense and quit trying to make baseless accusations.

The 100's thousand deaths happened under Saddam rule. The UN Commission of Human Rights place the total of Iraqi deaths since March 2003 to 55,000.

Katrina is a mess that the federal government help did not help.

I am one of the uninsure. I do not want government health care because Walter Reed.

The stock accumulation is also done by the very rich liberals too.

100s of thousands of deaths in the Middle East, most of which are caused by terrorists, pale next to the 1.3 million deaths a year in abortion. We aim for the terrorists, not the civilians, and certainly not the helpless unborn children. Katrina victims should have been aided by the federal, state and local governments. It happened that only Bush gave a crap. The New Orleans mayor proved to be nothing but racist in a time of crisis. So, who is heartless you ask? Cons are trying to privitize social security so it can last, because the current system is running out. Some of us are trying to stop illegal immigration and increase legal immigration to help the social security system as well. I dont even have stock, and by your statement, you must think that liberals dont own stock either-very ignorant.

1. Oppose stricter sentences for many crimes including the death penalty for capital murder.

Conservatives are the ones who would rather help the poor and downtrodden voluntarily and with their own funds. Liberals want to forcibly confiscate the income of everyone so that some government agency can step in and "solve" all these problems (all while skimming a large percentage of the amount spent off the top to enlarge their own finances), primarily so that they can feel good about themselves.
