Thanks for the info on reseting the maintence reminder light
so if i do dissconnect the battery cables will it affect any thing else besides the clock of course , will it affect the obdoner.

Well, you'll have to reprogram your radio pre-set stations.

Disconnecting the battery WILL NOT erase the engine codes stored in your computer..... they are stored as a hard fault. ONLY an OBDII code scanner can erase the codes.... the battery thing works on some pre 96 vehicles, but not on new OBDII cars. You need to fix your car the right way, not extinguishing a light bulb. ;)

If you have a code for your radio, make sure you know it.
