I started the pill 9 months ago and iam on my 3rd type of pill, each pill i take i start bleeding a week b4 im due to take the break. They started me off with celest, then microgynon 30 and now im on marvelon which doesnt seem to b working either.
Is it normal to have been on this many pills n still not found the right 1 that works for me?

fortunately i didnt have that problem found 1 that worked straight away but everyones body is different and your hormones levels may not be the same as mine keep trying im sure you will find 1 soon. if your concerned consult your gp

It took me about 6 attempts to find a pill that agreed with me. I take trinovam, have done for 3 years with no probelms at all.

I used to get headaches, breast tenderness and bleeding with other pills

yes!! its hard finding a pill that suits you body. all of them made me bleed and have stomach pains etc, but thank goodness for yasmin!! its the best pill ever, no weight gain, good skin good hair, makes your periods regular and light. try this one hun im sure it will work for you x

Don't worry about it. There are LOADS of contraceptive pill brands. You will find one that works for you. Every person is different.

Microgynon 30 is pretty evil by all accounts. Was on it before... very unpleasant.

make sure u take the pill at around the same time every day..if taken irregularly it can cause breakthrough bleeding

It does happen. The doctors really have no way of knowing how you will react to the birth control. It's really a trial and error thing.

You may never find one that suits you and this would be perfectly normal, go back to the doctors and see what else she can suggest?
