I just had a son in December and he was stillborn. It took me 7 years to have him, and I had to go thru a fertility center. I am wondering if I will need to do that again, or if I will have enough hormones to get pregnant on my own. That was the reason for not getting pregnant before, I didnt produce enough hormones, but they didnt know what the problem was until I got pregnant and saw how low my HCG level was. I know they say after having a baby is the best time to get pregnant again, cause you are more fertile, it has been 3 months, how long does it last?

Sorry about your son. My best friend has lost 3 children and now she is 30 weeks pregnant with twins. So know that everything happens for a reason. Oh you may still be fertile. You should have been trying right after the 6 weeks up to about 6 months after.

i first want to let you know how sorry i am that you lost your precious son in december. you are in my prayers. i can only imagine how difficult it must be for you. to answer your questions. in most situations after delivery a women is most fertile and that can last up to one year! however, a womans body needs time to heal both physically and emotionally. you need to talk to you doctor about it before making a decision. but a lot of people say once they got pregnant on fertility meds, the second one just happened!

I am so sorry for your loss.
If you aren't ready to try again emotionally- that will make a difference. As you obviously know from years of TTC, stress can create a wall of resistance.
If you are ready now, you are officially past your 6 week mark, my opinion is to go for it. (Provided of course, you are ready)
Being pregnant again so soon after the first is hard on your body. (My first two were 10 months apart) BUT... if you take good care of yourself and maintain proper prenatal care, it will be ok.
It is true that your uterine lining is nice and "fluffy" and perfect for impantation, especially right after having a baby. But this window will start to slowly close between 6-8 months as your uterus really starts returning to it's pre-pregnancy size. (Although it can be 12-18 months before its actually back to normal again)

GOOD LUCK GIRLIE.

My daughter was born in April 1991 and suprise my son was born in April 1992. (exactly 11 1/2 months apart) I couldn't have sex for a month. So the answer is very fertile (If you continued to keep your breast milk going it increases fertility also.) Good luck!

females are very fertile after having slightly one. hence maximum surgeon's push start administration until eventually you're wanting them close at the same time. the actuality that breastfeeding will shop you from getting pregnant lower back is a rumor besides. many females finally end up pregnant lower back because of the fact they have self assurance it.
