They could go after him now if they truly wanted. They have the public support. But the Democrats, as a party, are up to their asses in complicity with the Bush crimes. They won't go after Bush because they support the larger aims of imperial domination of the Middle East and they are equally guilty of the crimes he has committed. The Democrats are Bush's best friends. Both the Democrats and Republicans are partys that represent the interests of the wealthy elite. The Democrats have no desire or intent to upset the balance of power by pushing the agenda of the underclass.

I don't think that the Dems are just sitting around waiting out Bush. I think they are trying to work with the president on resolutions. As well as scrutinizing all aspects of the current situation in Iraq. I believe they are trying to find a solution for all parties involved. Not just following or listening to lobbyist/money.

No. The opposite seems true. Bush is going to drag his feet until his term ends and will leave the mess for the next president and Congress to clean up. That is the way he has handled things all of his life. His daddy cleaned up every mess he ever made. This momma's boy was never made to pay his own consequences. He will trot his treasoness butt back to Crawford and leave the rest of us and the new administration to bring things back to rights again.

If they are waiting for something instead of being proactive, they will lose everything.
Democrats in the house and senate need to be acting on behalf of the American public, now. If they sit back, they will be fired during the next election and won't get to do anything.

Seeing is that they don't have the ballz to even pass non-binding resolutions, I would bet that your precious Quisling Dem's aren't going to be all that effective once owning all of the branches of government again.
