Your pregnancy lasts a total of 9 months...it is divided into 3 trimesters, each lasting 3 months.

The first trimester lasts 12 weeks and is when you'll get most of your nausea,vomitting,tender breasts, sleeplessness and small weight gain. The second trimester is week 13-24. Here your nausea may go away, you can feel your baby kick and your abdomen is growing. The third trimester is longest it can last 4 monthes week 25-40 this is where you'll have swelling, more pain,your baby drops. Sometimes you can go after your due date which could be anywhere beetween week41-44 and that really sucks. Pray this does not happen.

The first trimester begins when a fertilized egg implants into a woman's uterus...it last about three months...2nd trimester and 3rd trimester also each last about 3 months...in total that makes nine months and then in the end you get your beautiful baby.

the first 3 months... but technically doctors do it in weeks of 13...

1-13wks first trimester
14-27wks second trimester
28-40 wks third trimester...

some doctors have different definitions though.
