Hang out in the newer casinos - they have better ventilation so you don't choke. NYNY has high ceilings, so it's not horrible.

All the restaurants are non-smoking, any of the bars that serve food are non-smoking and all of the decent casino hotels offer non-smoking room. The casinos themselves will probably never go all the way non-smoking; too many of the massive high-rollers come from countries like Japan where smoking is not the huge social taboo that it is here in the US. And the Vegas casinos can't afford to lose the high rollers. They would definitely lose thousands of average American tourists who may gamble a couple hundred or a couple thousand dollars away before they lose a single high-roller who is betting $100,000 on each hand but won't come back because they can't smoke.

I always end up with a bad cold after visiting the smoky casinos. That's why I only go once a year, and gamble very little. I would go much more often and gamble for a longer time, if they would cut out the smoke.

Unfortunatly there are no casinos that allow no smoking. However all restaurants are smoke free due to the law that passed.

Although I don't smoke, and I don't like 2nd hand smoke,
I agree that smokers have their rights as much as non-smokers.
Smokers have their right to smoke.

most of the bigger places have a 'non smoking' section for gaming...but you have to walk through the smoke to get there.
