For example people who post blogs or message board posts/myspace comments. If the person discusses something somewhat connected to their school/office but don't say anything more than simple facts that are common knowledge, is it right for the school/office to "punish" that person?
How about if it's nothing more than just for using strong language in a subject not even connected to the school/office?
This concept is bugging me out because some stranger saw a post I made and went out of his way to report me for no reason other than to try and get me in trouble and make himself feel important.

For example people who post blogs or message board posts/myspace comments ON THEIR OWN TIME IN THE COMFORT OF THEIR OWN HOME (sorry, I should've specified). If the person discusses something somewhat connected to their school/office but don't say anything more than simple facts that are common knowledge, is it right for the school/office to "punish" that person?
