When a woman suffers from a vaginal yeast infection it's not because she has a choice, it's because her normal bodily balance has gone out of synch, which in turn creates a hospitable environment in the vagina for the yeast producing bacteria to thrive.

The reason that a vaginal yeast infection is more common than any other type of yeast infection is due to the fact that the vagina is the perfect place for these little bacteria to grow.

In fact, even when the body is in balance there are yeast producing bacteria present in the vagina. The Candida Albicans bacteria are normally controlled and kept to a minimum by the immune system and the good bacteria.

When something goes wrong however and the balance of the vagina is thrown off track, the Candida Albicans bacteria can take over and create ever more masses of yeast, which in turn leads to a vaginal yeast infection.

Since a vaginal yeast infection, will thrive on such foods containing sugars and sweeteners you should really stay away from these, along with foods containing carbohydrates, yeasty foods, and fermented foods.

You should also try and stay away from such things as red meats and alcohols. And along with what you shouldn't eat for a vaginal yeast infection, there are also foods which you should eat, and these include whole grains, brown rice, plenty of vegetables, unsweetened yogurt, and garlic to name but a few.

Most certainly so can diet be cause for frequent occurence of yeast infection.

Assuming you are not sexually active physically with or without a male counterpart, your reliance upon understanding your diet is of the utmost importance.

Too frequent use of vaginal cleansers or douching can add to tremendous dangers to your body and even to your gift of giving birth.

Your diet sustains life, everyone knows that, but over indulgence of certain foods, liquids included, cause the body to counteract the over indulgence. However, there are limits to which even the body can fight back and this leads to other problems. Yeast infection is but one of many and I am sure you know several others.

Mostly so, fats and sugars in the diet seem to be exceeding the limitations a persons' body can correct by compensation and these levels in the blood stream are peaked out causing several problems often even un-recognized until danger is extreme and finally noticed.

During a cycle, flow does contain yeast forming ingredients and needs only time to incubate. As well, the saline water produced by the body as an internal lubricant and moisturerizer contains a level of fats and oils prone to create yeast. Sweating is classic for foul odour for having too high a level of oil, fats and sugars in the bloodstream. In essence, this foul odour is the fermentation of active organisms, the very ones that create yeast.

Obviously then, diet has everything to do with excessive yeast infections and must be corrected before more serious dangers appear.

As an immediate act, it is best to discontinue all fats and sugars from your diet for a week or two while meanwhile establishing a proper diet to adhere to which is modeled to your particullar food preferences, your age and your body weight.

Yes, sugar/carbs/starches feed yeast.
We all have a certain amount of yeast in our body. Junk food always causes overgrowth, causing yeast infections, and other minor health issues, that one would not even think that yeast could cause.

Overgrowth of yeast, can also ferment fruit sugars in your body, causing alcohol levels to grown in your body too, and you dont even have to drink.

Stop sugars/starches and bad carbs, start eating yougurt and taking a probiotic daily and that will get your intestinal track, and help with yeast, and other bad bacteria or fungus in the body.

yes, sodas/pop is a big one.... i found cutting out soda made a huge difference

Yeast infections are fed by carbohydrates, sugars, yeast and fermented foods. Most people who have yeast infection do not realize they are feeding it on a daily basis. Do not eat cooked or fresh fruit with other food because it spoils and ferments in the stomach. Fresh fruit when eaten alone will not ferment. Carbohydrates will ferment if eaten with proteins.
