I did an ovulation test then left it on the side for the five minutes but i forgot about it. When i remembered an hour later it had two lines both the same depth of colour.Do i take this as a positive or is it because i left it too long???

no i would do another one after 20 mins it can give a wrong answer so i would do another one and read it within 10 mins then you will know
i did the same and did another just to make sure

I'm not entirely sure, but I would imagine that an ovulation test can get an evaporation line in the same way that a pregnancy test can because they work on the same principle.

i would try another test you can get them cheap on ebay

i'd suggest you take the test again, no point being 'unsure' and prolonging it..
