It is funny that in a land where entrepreneurial spirit is allegedly revered, being too successful incurs the wrath of the politicians.
We should be giving a medal to people/companies that are making "excessive" profits, they are the engine of growth. The shareholders benefit, the employees benefit, society benefits.

Notice she threw a fist towards Exxon before any other large corp. She knows where the cash is. Another sting that is attached to Clinton.
They are controlling her, as well as many other morons in this country with the thought that this war is for oil, and now that the chip is planted she uses this conspiracy as a weapon to fight the opposing party, but what is going to happen to these profits after they are seized? Maybe she'll give them to Gore to support his entertaining, Grammy-award winning movies, and alternative fuel research since Gore is such an expert.
Hillary thinks being president is a job so she can receive a paycheck.... I'd think it more as a privilege

I am amazed that people even clapped when she made that speech first of all the government makes huge profits from the oil company aren't gasoline taxes based on a percentage of the price (duh). People that support this type of person are not deep thinkers what we are seeing from Hillary is a residue of the hippie generation that thought Communist was a good idea hence the word commune. I think that we as a nation have to reject these type of policies and the people who expouse them.

who is going to take her excessive profits from her speaches and her book deal....we could apply it to eductaion. Same arguement, different medium. of course, she and libs would object because their target is capitalism.
the government makes more money off of a gallon of gas than the oil companies do. Does that mean we the people should demand the government return to us their excess profits from the selling of gasoline?

Hillary will simply take excessive profits from the oil companies (which support the GOP) and shift them to companies and organizations which have bribed...uh, I mean "funded" her campaign. The net result to you & me will be no benefit at all.

Isn't that funny. Government takes a nice chunk of my paycheck (and pee it away on useless things) and they are going to punish companies for "excessive" profits.
Why doesn't Government punish itself for taking the biggest profit off of every gallon of gas sold.
