Yeah, it's like the old saying: "Don't tell me it does pay to worry about things, because everything I worry about never happens".

Yea, I've noticed that that happens often, but I'm a worrier. I'd rather consider the potential consequences and be ready for them. I don't let it take over my life, but yea I often find that I worry over some things and later find out it was for no reason.

Yeah..some upsets are just temporary glitches..that pass & don't affect anything.
I would like to learn something about myself, life, the other person......from every upset though. It is good to be aware, and try to see patterns in one's life...
