Will they work with Cabela's hunting games or others so i don't have to use keys and arrows,Don't want to buy one then find out i can't.

I have had mixed results using game controllers over the years. Usually it is pretty good. But, some features require button mapping and such.
I have heard that the corded XBox 360 controller, which uses a USB connector, works very well for PC games. Give that a try.

Yes... in most cases, game controls just simply map their buttons to corresponding keyboard values. So anywhere you can use a keyboard, you should be able to use a game controller. Just make sure which ever controller you buy for your PC, that it actually does this.

I actually have that same question. I bought the logitech controller that resembles the xbox one and I tried to play half-life 2 but it didn't shoot just let me view from side to side...

yes, go to best buy or circuit city. i like them better then using the keyboard or mouse.
