This is a security key that would be setup in your router to stop unauthorized people from gaining access to your wireless network. The WEP on the PSP is where you would put the required key so that it can access your wireless internet connection.

It is not the password that you came up with when you installed the router, but when you set up your router ( especially microsoft) it has a 128 bit encryption that is defaulted on, you have to manually turn it off in the routers software. You did come up with a security password to get into the software I'm assuming. To get the WEP code, you have to be able to access the routers software.

To get this code

1. go to your command prompt on your desktop
2. Next, type in IPCONFIG to get the IPaddress
3. Now, in your browser type http://yourIPaddress (ex. http://192.166.0.1)
4. when the router comes up type "admin" for user and press enter (leave password blank).
5. now you can change your WEP code.

In addition, WEP is easier to encrypt I suggest changing to WPA
