The Cowboys. No one has taken the title from them. Everyone has an opinion of them(love or hate) and until that number goes down, to at least exclude people who don't like Football, they will keep it. This crap about the Saints, nope. They never took the title. They were America's Charity Case at best.

The Cowboys are termed "America's Team" but I don't like them and they don't have what it takes to be America's Team. Even when it was Aikman/Smith/Irvin.
I believe that the Packers are in infact America's team. They are the only team to be owned by the general public and not some rich guy with money to spare. When the stadium need to be updated, people in Green Bay voted to raise taxes to help with it. How many other teams have a fanbase like that. Many Packers fans would give their first born and second born just to move up on the season tickets list. I believe it's something like if I were to sign up at this moment, I would get them in like 47 years or something.
The Saints have been called that due to Katrina and their recovering from the disaster.
The Patriots have also been coined "America's Team" since they won the Super Bowl after 9/11 with Bruschi's brother having perished in the fires trying to save others.

I don't think any one team is americas team! the cowboys say that they are, but I hate the cowboys and everyone else in other NFL cities do also (except in Texas) I love my Saints, and I know alot of people hate the saints but screw them!! I think every one wants their team to be americas team but be content with your favorite team just being your team!!!!
and by the way "just face the facts, Jesus is Lord" and screw the muslims(if thats how to spell it)

It is and has always been the Dallas Cowboys. Other teams are jealous of that title and have attempted to emulate it but it will always be Dallas.
