We used to live in Southern California and it didn't have any bug problem, every once in awhile we would have a black widows nest in our yard. We currently live in Texas, and we have a huge scorpion problem. They crawl in bed with you, and are a constant threat. We want to move, but weare having a hard time finding some place to go. I know the Carolinas have black swariming flies, and all the south has flying cockroaches, snakes, and scorpions. Please help me with this problem, my family is freaking out!!

i used to live in southern California too and now live in Texas you're right about not having bugs in California but ii would rather deal with a few bugs then the traffic in southern California i have no bug problem we spray all the time in and out that keeps every thing at the neighbor side so get an exterminating company and let them do there work after that you will be OK no unless you want to move to the north pole

I live in California, relative to most places not a lot of bugs. Get your house and yard treated by a professional exterminator. Unfortunately, everywhere has some bugs, I think the North Pole is pretty bug free, don't think the trade off is worth it though.

We live in NH and we have black fly season for the month of may usually then we have mosquito's,hornets, bees (that family) in the summer and wood ticks( but they run their cycle and are gone usually by August) We don't really have a roach problem.Black widows, scorpions or rattle snakes don't live here either. We just have 4 seasons and only certain cycles for certain bugs.

Colorado, we don't even get flies for the most part, sure there are going to be a few bugs but no were near as many as California or the Carolina's.

Wyoming has not bugs - I lived in Cheyenne - no bugs - wind all the time and no water but also no bugs

Get your house exterminated on a regular basis; I live in Texas and I have no problems I get my home exterminated professionally every 3 months.

i might say burn them. however the possibility is merely too extreme fidgeting with fire. this is not worth doing it by using your self and perform a little harm on your loved one homestead. it could value slightly slightly yet calling a occupation is the ideal thought in case you want an enduring answer. I even have discovered this the hard way. So be risk-free. :)
