i think it would be from dryness. but I wouldnt do vasoline. That is oil based. I would try saline spray for noses. Thats water based. Is it just winter you get these sores or all the time? If you have allergies, the oil based vasoline can cause back up of bacteria and cause infection. good luck.

I get the same thing.I even asked the question to one of those on line drs. but they have never gotten back to me yet.I wonder if it is caused by dry heat? I try to keep it moist. I rub vasiline in there because those sores get dry and hard. I wished somebody could tell us,hu??
