NO, you shouldn't try it! Slowly killing anything isn't the way to do it. If you hate it that much, just step on it like a spider or ant. Salt draws out the water in a slug - which needs so much that it's slimy - and when you put salt on it, you're "quickly" drawing out what they need a lot of to survive... but it still takes a bit of a while. Again, just step on it or flick it with a stick please.

Not sure about salt, but my mother in law says to by really bad beer and stick it in a bowel in you yard. The slugs will be attracted to it, fall in and drown.

I don't know about slugs, but I do know it will kill weeds in the yard by poring it right on the weed. Also that beer does make slugs die

Yes it does slugs. But you may want to watch how much salt you pour; salt can hurt plants.

Yes, my mother used it all the time in her garden. You can also put out beer in flat, low rimmed containers. It will draw the slugs out too.

it does but my problem is where there is 10 slugs after you desolve them it seems like 50 more show up its endless . . .

yes it does....but the best way to kill them is to put out a bowl of beer near them and they will fall in and die
