What happens? It depends...
If the person being reported is from the U.S. or U.K. where the full list of Report Abuse options is available, it sure seems like it only takes *one* report to get someone Violated and to get points and content yanked.
However, when you report people--even people who are openly and flagrantly trolling--from other countries where only a partial list of Report Abuse options is available, *they* are much harder to do anything to. As in it takes at least three or four different people just to get the automated systems to wake up and do something, usually a keyword search for items from a list of "Objectionable speech" terms.
So essentially, the deck is rigged against you if you speak English and live in a halfway civilized part of the world. -_- Sad but true. Yahoo's Abuse Reporting system seems *designed* to protect trolls, scammers, spammers and scum from other nations...

Go ahead and tell the name. If it truly offended you, you had a right to report the question. And yes, I believe the question does disappear after a while if it's a legitamite complaint.

I'm not sure. I've never reported anyone. I have a friend of mine that has but I'm not sure what happened to the question.

if you list the person's name we can report him as well and then he will definitely be suspended
