Been with my boyfriend for nearly two years, but he has become moody, there isnt much sex anymore, and he seems to find things to moan to me about.

I was sorting out the washing and he piped up I asked you to move that (that being a very small pile of letters on the coffee table) and then abruptly said, 'why don't you just pack your bags'

what the hell has gone wrong!??!?!?

Ok so now I'm really confused!

Just sat talking to me about radiators and which ones to get and which would look good, and then gave me a kiss and a hug.

I'm so confused now. I'm just hurt by what he said

He sounds depressed or bipolar. Talk to him about the relationship, though, to make sure it's not that he's just wanting out. Sometimes people act that way to alienate the other person in the relationship so they'll leave on their own. If that's not the case, tell him there's nothing wrong with being treated for depression or whatever else is wrong. Have the hard conversation now and save yourself the stress.

u say there isnt much sex anymore? Well, the bitter truth is sometimes sex kills a relationship gradually. On the other hand, try and spend time alone and give him some space all the while letting him know u're there for him. if this still doesnt work, then i think he might just be serious about u packing ur bags. There isnt any kind of love without pain. So dont rush out of the relationship, try and talk to him without making him feel pressured,ok? Give it more time .but if things get worse, u still have ur whole life ahead of you.U'll find someone who will love u without takin out his frustrations on u too harshly. Bye

Could be 1 of a number of things, perhaps hes a bit depressed or worried bout something, men have a habit at taking it out the the ones they love rather than talk bout it,i think you should both have a heart to heart to see where you both stand,or maybe the releationship has run its course you will never find out until you ask,gd luck i hope everything turns out ok for you

So you're living with your boyfriend and doing his laundry. Any rings on your fingers? Plans to get married? Otherwise you're just a live in maid, cook, mistress, with no commitment or assurances of a future. Congratulations. Beyond that it sounds like your boyfriend wants out. He's tired of you, tired of the relationship, and probably can't figure out a way to break up since you two live together. Another find example of how couples living together without plans to get married RARELY works out for the best.

Your relationship obviously has gone stale.... his lack of interest in you and whinning are indicators that something is
missing.... his outburst about bag packing shows that he may
be wanting out of the relationship but is harboring some type
of guilt and wants to have you make the first move in the breakup.... You have two options....leave or try to rekindle
the flame... a question that only you can answer...

Well, I'm a black and white person; there are no gray areas =) I'd pack. Only because if he's going to act like this now, chances are it won't get any better. I'd also ask in the process, he's either going to tell you (being truthful or not) or make up excuses....if someone told me to pack and leave, I would, and not respond to anything they had to say to me in the future =)

God... it sounds like for whatever reason things have gone wrong! Sounds to me like your boyfriend has decided this relationship is over and is just going to act like a total b@stard to you until you dump him! Its a classic scenario. Men can't talk about their problems so its likely that whatever problems he's had with you have escalated to this extent. I suggest that you sit down with him and ask him whats wrong. Try to have a discussion rather than a shouting match. See what he says. Explain how his behaviour is affecting you. Don't ever mention finishing things. See what his reaction is and if there is any way you can work through things. Good luck.

I think you need to have a serious chat. You obviously really love him or you wouldn't be asking us what to do so I wouldn't do anything drastic just yet. I have a moody partner who moans at me a lot but as soon as I threated to go he begged me to stay and then we just sat and calmly talked through our problems. It easy to jump to conclusions about him cheating or things like that but there could be something thats going on with him which is making him on edge.

I think that this relationship is no longer a good idea. You should try talking to him to give him the benefit of the doubt but the truth is it sounds like he's already made up his mind. Although you may not know what's going on...it sounds like he does. Good Luck and don't settle for a life you're not happy with.

Unless he is on his period and experiencing PMS, he doesn't want to be with you anymore. Unfortunately he doesn't know a better way to express it. As sad as this may be, don't stick around for any more mistreatment. I don't know you but as a human being, you deserve better. You can always play the optimistic role and try to talk about it, but the answer is pretty obvious. Good Luck.
