But waasn't the reason they were fired is because they were playing politics in that they wouldn't pursue investigations into Democrats who were guilty of wrongdoing? Seems like they are the ones who started playing politics; not the President. He was simply taking them to task for not doing their jobs.

Did you expect more from them? It's a typical day in the life of a democrat to go off half ******.

not all them are. Reagan began the deregulation technique and a good form of politicians agreed with the belief and exceeded various costs that lead us right here. It wasn't merely democrat or republicans or merely politicians the two. all of us had a hand in it. that's needed understand why it exceeded off so we are able to map a manner forward yet too many are searching for for somebody to blame extremely than watching the thank you to get out of the trench and the thank you to be certain that we don't finally end up back there. who's to blame does not count precise now, while the airborne dirt and dust settles and have been on a good keel then we are able to subject regarding the witch hunt and finger pointing, precise now we would desire to have ideas.

You miss the point totally. The president and the republicans wanted investigations of democrats to be pushed to the front of the line because of an upcoming election. The US attorneys would have done the investigations but in a time that reasonsible and outside of politics.

Nice use of the word guilty there. So you assume they are guilty before there is even an investigation?

I think that is why the Aides need to be questioned. If there was no political motivation behind the firings, then they should not be willing to testify and clear their names.

If they have something to hide, then they will not want to answer the questions.

It seems that they don´t want to answer questions and it only make them all look bad

that's a nice repetition of the current rnc talking point, but not very close to the truth.

they wouldn't pursue charges where none existed.

but i notice in your question you mention "Democrats who were guilty of wrongdoing."

since when is anyone anywhere "guilty of wrongdoing" before they are even charged with a crime - what a curious duplicity cons have.

scooter libby is suspected, charged, indicted, tried and convicted, but you refuse to believe it. these people were never charged by very highly rated bush appointees, but you can't understand why they aren't in prison for a crime that never happened.

thank god people like you are getting removed from our govt...

There is a story about a Republican attorney who was fired because he didn't go after Democrats accused of fraud in New Mexico. He could not find enough evidence to charge them, not that they weren't guilty, he just didn't have enough to charge them. The Administration and their lackeys in Congress (Deminici) wanted the people charged anyway. This is just another example of total disregard this Administration has for people's Constitutional rights.

That's why we need to serve those subpoenas. So your President can clear his "good" name. You are eager to clear his "good" name aren't you ? Good. The subpoenas will be issued shortly.
