Great question but Elt happens to be talented or doesn't that matter these days. More to the point you should have posed this question using Jade Goody instead of Elton John...because she indeed is living proof that you don't have to be good-looking to be famous, not only is she pig ugly but a viscious nasty little thug, who's claim to fame is being on Big Brother and biting a school friend's ear off in an argument - bet you'd never heard that story before? Oh and also she beats up the boyfriend, and the ex-husband, and a 51 year old grandmother at a cinema brawl.

No Elton John is not too good looking but the man in a legend in his own right. He has a beautiful voice and is really an advocate for AIDS research.

Are you serious? I am not sure if you havent watched to much TV lately but if looking good is what makes you famous then there are a lot of people in my opionion who shouldnt be. Looks arent the important thing. One person might find you dropp dead gorgeuos when others find you *** ugly so it doesnt matter it whether or not you have the talent to make you famous.

No, he's living proof that you didn't USED to have to be good looking to become famous. Nowadays we don't hear music from anyone who doesn't have a 6-pack, and it's wrong.

many people are proof that you dont have to be good looking, but you do need to have some quality. Not everyone can play the "corporate bimbo"- alot of people need an "attraction factor" other than looks.
