that living the american dream of going to college, getting a job, buying a house, getting married, having kids, and being able to retire at a decent age will make and keep you happy and fulfilled when really its just something to do to get you through life until you die...unless you can come up with anything better...the reality is things will happen that wont be anything to smile about all along the way testing you and your belief in whether or not this theory is true for YOU.
