My brother intro'ed me to The Secret with a copy of the new DVD version for Christmas. I had no idea about this Law of Attraction stuff, other than some Christian teachings that are into the "ask and you shall receive" stuff. But after I saw the video, I was fairly amazed, albeit a bit skeptical. One thing that really grabbed me is the fact that this Law of Attraction is an actual law of Quantum Physics. I do believe the makers of the book and video sensationalize it a bit, but IT WORKS.
In January, I developed what they call a 'vision board'. Some people use a cork bulletin board you can hang on your wall, with images & descriptions of specific things you want in life. These images on your 'vision board' help you stay focused and passionate about things you want. I had a deposit slip for $1000, a pair of new computer monitors, and a note stating that my new business website would see an increase in hits...among other items.
Well, I thought I was going to have to pay taxes this year, but instead got a $1400 unexpected refund. My old pc monitor for my business pc was on the blink and I've always wanted dual LCD monitors (it's a graphic artist thing. lol). I found my monitors on sale at nearly half price a week after the income tax return came in. Finally, as of March 1st, my website has seen a 120% increase in traffic!
What people have to remember is that The Secret doesn't mean you will go "abracadabra" and things will poof out of thin air. No. What is happening is that circumstances are re-aligning themselves on a quantum level to make a way for your desire to happen.
I won't get into details as to how all of this works. Just trust when I, and others who reply, say that The Secret can work. It already has for me.
...by the way, my next desire is to have new advertising customers on my website.

It's a DVD that you can order. There is a book called the Power of Intention that is the same concept outlining how to live the Law of Attraction. It is a good book.
I have a negative thing in my life that I'm trying to "manifest my thoughts differently". It is very challenging, but I practice with smaller, insigificant things sometimes and have had some luck. Go to this lady's website. She is pretty cool. www.goodvibescoaching.com

yes, I have read the book, and I was inspired to buy the movie as well. I watch the movie often, and lend the book to others..
Once you read the book, you will be able to reflect upon your life and realize when the universe has delivered.. I have had at least 10 instances where this has happened!

saw the DVD... It is about positive thinking and not just willing positive things to happen, but actually envisioning yourself succeeding in this venture.
It isn't mystic or religious, but it is a great idea ...
