help with charging battery on cell phone?

I have a motorola cell phone and have tried charging the battery several times and it will not hold a charge. I have cleaned the contacts on the battery compartment and even replaced the old battery and it will not hold a charge. I have a new charger. Help..

First try using a different outlet to charge your phone. If that does not work than take it to your dealer and get a new phone.

You need to take your cell phone to the carrier and explain the situation it may not be the battery it could be the connection between your phone and the charger. You may just need a new phone.
