I damn near cracked a rib listening to him "threaten" the Democrats over this most current scandal of his administration (I've lost count this week - this is 3, right?)
Have you ever wondered how a wealthy silver spoon kid born to Yankee parents got such a strong Texas accent?

No, but I laugh ever time I look at your avatar.

Bush is going the wrong way on this one, quite honestly.

Gonzalez lied about the firings. Fess up and get it over with.

I agree with Bedros.
On one hand he is hilarious, because he makes himself look like a fool. Half the time he gets his words mixed up and uses words in the wrong context. It's pretty funny to watch him struggle for words, when he's supposed to be so articulate.
On the other hand, he has created more enemies across the world for America than any other president in history. Damn near everyone hates us at this point.
Whoever comes after him, whether they be Republican, Democrat or otherwise, is going to have fun cleaning up the huge mess he has made for us across the globe.
And the accent, well, that's just part of his little persona he wants to portray to the world. Yes, he was raised in Texas so some of it stands to reason. But, I think he plays it up because he thinks that acting like an imbred hotheaded cowboy and throwing his weight around, trying to act tough, will scare everyone into submission.
It's just another reason to laugh at him if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure his only tough-guy experiences come from drunken brawls at the frat house, and it kinda looks like he got his nose broke -- with a chair Geraldo style! More and more, he's starting to remind me of Mr. Burns. And Cheney is the fatter, closeted Smithers.

Part of me gets a chuckle... especially now that his power is diminished. But when it concerns foreign affairs, it's not funny. His chest-beating rants and attempts at looking like a cowboy hero have done more to fuel terrorism and anti-American sentiment than any terrorist cell. The tough talk is a mask: deep down he is a coward.

I've always said when I want to watch "comedy" I will watch Bush talk................what a joke!!! You're going to get bashed for this one so I had to pop in and tell you I'm on your side. I've done the "political" and "political related" questions and DAMN -- Republicans are mean sometimes. I guess they have to be -- it's a defense mechanism. I'm an independent and thinking about going Democrat JUST SO I CAN VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES. Go Borack!!!!

Not me, I'm quaking in my shoes. Don't forget, when Bush was in the Texas Air National Guard, not one single Viet Cong plane made it into Texas.

GWB:" hehe, I guess we showed them Congeees who's boss hehe"

I think it's funny that he thought the Dems would just say "okay, that sounds good!" when he offered to have Rove talk behind closed doors without being under oath.....what the h*ll would be the point in that? he would just lie.
