Network, Badlands, and The Godfather Part II are probably the three most "brilliant" movies I've ever seen.

In terms of recent movies, I thought Dreamgirls, The Departed, and Volver were all excellent and pretty close to brilliant.

I bought "The Village" DVD when it came out but I didn't watch it until this week. It was really good. I also watched "Somethings Gotta Give" I enjoyed that real well also !!!!!
