My wife's friend just did. They bought a brand new house that haunted by a child ghost. It messes with thier kids and touches the lady's hair when she is combing it. It makes itself visible to people that don't even know about there being a ghost in the house.

They will visit and ask about the little girl playing downstairs. Freaky huh?

What ghost stories you got.

C'mon I in the mood to be freaked out! No freaky cheating and curry questions today.

There are no such things as Ghost, its just demons playing with people mind, when your dead your dead and that is it.

Your soul doesn't float around, your six feet under waiting for the resurrection. Or whatever after life you believe in

The first house my ex and I bought was haunted I think and so do others that have lived there(my kids and his girlfriend) The woman that lived in it before collapsed on the stairs and went to a nursing home never to return to the house again. I used to smell things cooking and would go and check to see who was cooking what and no one was cooking. This would happen at all hours of the day and night. As my kids got older they experienced it also when I no longer lived there. It would smell like things that I had never even cooked in my life so there was no way it was left over odors.

One night my daugther and I decided to leave the city late at night. I felt like we overstayed our welcome at my sister's house during the holidays.

Anyway we just passed this one town and up ahead there was a turn off and it was brightly lit. It was really cold outside so I spotted a person standing out in the highway at night. We had been shopping and the jeep sport cherokee was full of gifts, bags and luggage we had just shopped for my daugther's new born baby that was yet to be born. I thought I will have to make room for this hitch hiker seeing as it is a cold night.

As we were approaching that figure of an individual disappeared before my eyes. I asked my daugther where did that person go I just seen standing here? Here my daugther said "Mom, I saw that man standing there, he was wearing a vest and blue jean denim jackets together - he was dresssed like he was from the 1970's. He had long pitch black hair." I could not see that man that was standing there and she could.

This one old man told me that every now and then people see that same man standing out in the highway. This is the same man we had seen that one night, there had been a man run over year in this highway years ago.

Another story that was told me to by a friend:
One time these two sisters were partying in the city of Edmonton, Alberta. They left with this man from the bar and went to this apartment. When they walked in this apartment they noticed it had wall to wall alcohol and only one couch. Their friend went to the bedroom and they really felt errie and noticed something was not right. They both got scared and started holding each other and praying. When their friend came out of the bedroom, he told the ladies that praying was not allowed in his place so he threw the sisters out. When they came to their senses, they noticed that they were both walking down parkade steps in the city.

Yeah, we have a ghost at out house who we've glimpsed usually only in the Fall. He looks like a 30- or 40-ish guy wearing what looks like a tweed jacket. He's usually standing near the corner of the property by this old fir tree that we have, and occasionally we've seen him go by our back window, and when we look again, he's gone. I have no idea who he is, but it definitely doesn't seem like a malevolent presence - more like he's looking out for things. We also spend a lot of time in Cape Cod, Mass. - lots and lots of hauntings up there, especially in some of the old Inns and restaurants.

Not in my house but---my hubby and i used to never believe in ghosts until we went on a family trip and stayed in a hotel.
We were walking towards an elevator and there was a man going into to elevator so i slowed down so that i didn't have to ride with him. When I got up o he door as soon as it closed I hit the up button and the door opened and he was gone!!!!!I believe now but my hubby will not let me tell this story even though he saw it too because he thinks people will think we are crazy.

I myself NEVER believed in Ghosts but about 10 years ago when my oldest son was a baby I woke at about 4 in the morning and had this STRONG urge to need to turn around...you know when you get that feeling someone is looking at you? I rolled over and there, standing in the doorway was my father, who had died 9 years earlier....we live in Chicago, but he was wearing an old style long black coat, much like men would wear in 1800's London, an everything was dark, but a illuminating light was around his face........and he was speaking to me, but his lips were not moving, but I could hear what he was saying....Then he turned around and went "through" the door to my infant sons room, and disappeared.

True story. Yes, I now believe in Ghosts. And yes, that was the only time I ever saw one.

Yes, or I'm crazy...One day i was in the bedroom and i seen a man with tan colored pants, a red colored polo shirt and what looked like brown shoes...He was staring at me with his hand on his chin and his index finger tapping his cheek (i hope that part made sense)...I nearly had a heart attach...we have three others in this house to to...Once i felt someone grabbing right below my knees, i felt the fingers...I jumped on to of my husband...I sleep in the fetal position now...
At another one of my houses, I'm laying in bed and i looked towards my closet and there stands to me looked like a 8 year old girl in a blue dress and two long braids...Just smiling, i almost pee'd...
I own 5 homes, so i guess 2 out of the 5 with spirits isn't doing to bad....I'm moving...to another country

I have some friendly yet, mischievous ghost in my house. They tend to shake my bed at night and wakes me up from naps when it is time to pick the children up from school. Weird though we have been in this house for two years and someone is always sick. Not bad, just sniffles and sorts. Yea go ahead and tell me I am just crazy, but it's true.
