I choose to live simply, work hard and dedicate myself to a good cause. I do this because I believe that is why God has placed each of us on earth. Our purpose is not to simply seek pleasure, but to do good works.

I would rephrase that. Relax, enjoy life (or the comforts that you may get legitimately), live simple enough (of what life gives you), and yet work hard, and work for a good cause. Thats the best way I guess.

relax and enjoy life and enjoy comforts, is a bad combination, or perhaps too good, cos' the person probably is shallow and enough to deal with proclaiming that he is ''content'' which really he wouldnt be if he looked back the pages of history of his life.

Live simple, is not really possible. You may live life simple, until you see comforts, luxury, and everything seeping into your life, and you want more and more and more...and more...who lives simple these days..but yea, that could be possible ina very small percentage

work hard, yes, but ifyou wouldnt work smart what would be the purpose of working ?

Dedicating ourselves to a good cause, yes, that is all we all want, but we want all that if we had enough resources, again, the route is tough and hard, but then dont we know charity begins at home, as in first we need to condition ourselves to doing something ''selfless''...and be prepared to whatever comes by.....

So I still stick back with the first statement..a mix of everything is good, too much of one thing may not really be good...

I'll work hard for a good cause, and dedicate part of my hard work to being able to relax and enjoy life's comforts. Why? Because that's what I want to do.

Live simple, work hard and dedicate yourself to a good cause. That's sums up the way I live and it's very rewarding. Things aren't as rewarding when you don't have to work and sacrifice for them a little bit.
