i dont think its possible if its a recover partiton if it is then you would have to wipe your whole hardrive to gain access to the space its taking up

Depends what your 'd' drive is... if it's a CD reader or DVD reader then you can't. Written CDs and DVDs don't have usable space on them.

If it's a recovery partition on your hard disk, *do not* delete anything from it if it's your only recovery mechanism... if you do you can't rebuild using the suppliers OS image.

If it's a data partition on your hard disk or a second hard disk... delete things you don't want any more, compress anything you might want again using winzip or pkzip or whatever zip utility you have installed.

Or buy a bigger disk... and copy your files onto it.

Pull the D drive out of the computer and throw it away. THERE!! You just freed up all that space where the D drive used to be. SIMPLE, Huh?

Delete some unused files.
Uninstall unused program files.
Compile songs and image then burn it onto disc.
Run disk cleanup. Start-> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disc cleanup.

u right click on the drive and click disk clean up
