Being censored by Yahoo really hacks me off. It's not as if I say anything offensive or controversial, but I still get violation notices.
I have every sympathy with asylum seekers. For example, I think it's atrocious that the UK and US accept so few asylum seekers from Iraq.
I can feel another violation notice coming on..........

The only 'censoring' I've ever gotten on Yahoo! is in the Answers when I wrote a 'swear word' and it came out on screen as ****s. No, I didn't get mad about it ... I try not to 'swear here' as I try not to swear when I'm out in public, and if the word was 'unacceptable' then it should have been 'censored.' Yahoo!Answers is here to 'serve a good purpose' but that purpose could be made 'impossible if people were allowed to say EVERYTHING they want to say when they are 'ranting' about something, or are just 'too insane' for what they have 'written' here to be 'read' by ANYONE. I happen to be 56 years old, but I know that many of the 'regular users' here are 'well under 18 years old' ... and just as I try to give them 'good, well informed answers' I don't want to have them exposed to the 'swearing' and 'putting down' some people who come here seem unable to 'stop' so that they could actually LEARN SOMETHING here.

Yahoo has been censoring comments regarding stories they publish for a very long time now. They have now taken to removing some Yahoo participants from being able to comment on anything they publish. What happened to my first amendment rights Yahoo? I will not take it sitting down, you cannot silence me Yahoo, I will fight back! Consider yourselves notified of pending legal action!

at first, i was ticked! didn't see any reason for the censorship. even sent a scathing reply back to the a-team which of course they conventiently blew off. when i got my second one, i realized that i must have stepped on some toes and that it's the weak people that are bothered by my honest answers, and they are just reporting me cuz i don't worship their idols to their liking. after the third one, i just laughed and now i try to get censored. the beauty of it is that i don't even need to use curse words or even jumbled punctuation. i guess i am not liked.
HA HA HA
ps. the thumbs down for no reason are a laugh too

I hate censorship and yes, I have been censored by Yahoo. It's REALLY annoying. Pretty soon they'll be censoring private emails.
Ever see the family guy episode where they started to censor "real life"? that's not too far off!

Yes, it made me mad given the innocuous questions I was asking. The question of asylum seekers never entered my mind!

Feeling violated by the Yahoo!Answers team is something quite different from being guilt-tripped by a punk on the site.

I think it is a load of BS, I mean I just saw a question which was "how do I get blood stains out of the back of my station wagon after rapeing 9 y/o girls" now how is that not sensored?
