Many highway Interstate Cops use very high strength telescopes to see if you're wearing your seat belts or not from well over a mile away. By the time you see them, they've already had you spotted and called in for another cop to pull you over. Now, they can also tell if your licence plate stickers are up to date. It's just another way of Johny Law keeping tabs on us.

I live in Illinois, and I have always thought it was weird that certain states ONLY had a tag on the back??? What if a cop is facing a car and he needs to know the tag #? Maybe it's just so if someone needs to get your plate #, then they have 2 chances?

Two plates are the law in Canada. The argument that you can't read them at speed is pretty dumb considering there are such things as CAMERAS! There are toll highways that take pictures of your front plate when you get on and off to calculate what to charge. Also police cars also have cameras and can catch you for speeding as you approach.

Stupidity. Like you can really read the tag when both cars are going at a high rate of speed. All you really see is a blur.
