Unless the U.S. begins to make some serious restrictions concerning religions and superstitions of all kinds, we will have trouble with such things.

The least this country can do is TAX all religious organizations which can financially limit their brainwashing ability. (If the religious organizations are involved in politics, the government should be involved in religion and regulate its dangerous mission to some degree.)

If we allow Christians, we must also allow Moslems...one is no worse than another.

Islam is a beautiful religion. The Koran offers a message no different to that of the bible, Torah, etc. Religious freedom and exchange of ideas with toleration is what makes this country so great, so the question should be irrelevant. The problem exists not based on religion but the ideas which were engendered through the misinterpretation of society and people as a whole. Muslims and all other people whether agnostic, christian, Buddhist, satanist, or atheist are all welcome to practice whatever it is that they want to practice in this country. Don't judge Islam based on some several fundamentalists who has used a simple text to their use as a weapon. We, the tolerant Americans are smarter and more tolerant than that.

They are so sexy. Not the terriorists ofcourse, but the ones who play the terrorists on the show 24 are hot. I'm a Christian, but still. The guys from India.....tooo beautiful. Good genes too. I'm sorry, Middle Eastern men are a weakness of mine. I'm a sucker for a little dark man!!! Don't make any racist jokes about this either, because my daughter is half Persian Indian. I don't live with the father right now, but he's always gotten away with a lot with me just for having such a cute, funny accent, and a big set of brown eyes. He's a stinker, too full of pride, and I'm pretty sure he's living a double life, but he got me pregnant and I wasn't sapposed to be able too. So, I'm glad he's here, because I wouldn't have my daughter. God wouldn't want us to judge them or not have love for them. His only begotten son was born over there. We are all Gods children. Besides, I live out in the country with a bunch of honkies, and I'm here to tell you that we're not less dangerous than other cultures. We're just stupid and run our mouths too much and get caught. The father of my child is very tricky. I've learned most of my life lessons through him. I'm still way too nieeve, but no life is a mistake, and people aren't here by "chance".

Muslims in America are as varied as people in any any other religion, ethnically and culturally. There are immigrant Muslims from a lot of different countries; not only the Arabic countries, but the Philippines, Indonesia, various countries in Africa, etc. And there are home-grown Muslims, too.

I have neighbors who are a Muslim couple, and they are lovely people.

I'm second-generation American myself, and have a lot of empathy for people who are immigrants.

And I'm fully in favor of universal religious freedom.

******

I think, by the way, that one ought to have at least the minimal courtesy to call people by their preferred term.

They are not "islam people". They are Muslims.

Fine with it. I don't believe that all Muslems are evil just b/c a few are bad. It's sort of like World War 2 all over again where instead of people making assumptions about Japanese they are making assumptions about anyone who worships the Muslem way. It's sort of sad how anyone makes assumptions. The best we can do is just teach out children to like the humans underneath the skin rather then whats on it.

It depends. Those who are Americans first and Islamists second are welcome. Those who are Muslims first are something else.
How can you tell ? How many Muslims ever report a "brother" to the police ? Muslims discuss things among themselves, the same as everybody. When one shows signs of being anti-American, do his friends alert the police, or keep it among themselves ?
This is the test. How many can pass it ?

They never did anything to me. I have more of a problem with racist white people living here than anyone else!
This is supposed to be a free country so the only ones that should have to leave are the ones who are trying to take away our freedom.

It scares me, but at the same time, I know they are here to be free just like me. So I try not to worry to much about it.
