The best way to deal with multile choice questions is to eliminate one by one till you get to the right one.

Ans a) is wrong because an electron is found inside an atom. So obviously, it cannot be bigger than an atom.

Ans b) is wrong too as only neutrons have a neutral charge.

Ans c) is also wrong since the nucleus only consists of neutrons and protons. Electrons are found outside the nucleus and they orbit the nucleus.

therefore, having eliminated all the other answers, the good one is and d) an electron has a negative electrical charge.

For note: Protons have a positive charge, neutrons are neutral and electrons have negative charge. Hope it helps.

D is Correct!!!
An electron does have a negative electrical charge.
Reasons way:
An electron is smaller than an atom.
Electrons are negatively charged.
An electron orbits the nucleus of an atom.

D is a correct as far as we know and our experiments tell us. However one should note that electrons control the majority of space a atom takes up. A electron also determines the characteristics of a atom. The number of protons at the core attract the same number of electrons, Neutrons do not have charge but add to overall weight.

D- because a positive charge is the absence of electrons-- more electrons = more negativity electrical charge

D.

An electron is a part of an atom and therefore smaller, orbits the nucleus, and has a negative charge

read your chapter! It's faster than typing all this. U still can't be sure which is the right answer. AND you're less likely to rem. it on the test.
