Why is Universal Studios (Florida) closing the ride Back to the Future? This is one of the best rides at Universal Studios.

They usually get rid of rides that have to do with older movies because they're out of date. Lots of little kids don't even know what Back to the Future is. They get rid of them to build rides that go with newer, more popular movies.

...it sucks though.

The Back To The Future ride will close on March 30,2007. Universal Studios released the information in the fall of last year that the ride is closing forever. I do not think they have released the information yet as to what ride they are going to replace the Back To The Future ride with but I am sure it is going to be something great.

There are rumors going around that the new ride that will take it's place will be a Simpson's ride. I am really bummed about this, we are going in June, therefore I will not be able to ride it one last time. The last time I rode it was back in 2000. It will surely be missed.
