In this case, it sounds like one wrong was compounded by another wrong: namely, that Sister may have continued to function in a position where she was a threat to harm young people. I am not a lawyer, so I cannot speak to whether or not it is a crime to have an agreement with an accused sex offender. As one who has studied moral theology, though, I can say that it would certainly be morally wrong to hide something that would harm the common good (i.e., society).

By law it's not a crime to have an agrement with a sex offender. But is a crime to keep it confidential...you have to disclose that to everyone..especially the parents!!

Yes its wrong. If you know of something happening that is against the law especially in a case like that you are just as guilty as the person doing it if you don't report it. Well in my opinion anyways.
