I probably won't just because I don't need the extra storage or HDMI connection. But I also heard a rumor that when the black version comes out, or shortly after, there will be a price drop on the regular unit to 299 and the core system will start to be phased out.

Yes most definitely, HDMI port, 120HDD Memory. The thing I hate most is that my TV is all the cluttered with cords. With HDMI cables (not just for the 360) you can get rid of all those A/V & speaker cables. Not to mention the better clarity. If you have an HD-Cable your not really getting HD-HD...your getting HD-A/V (with the 360) which is like an upconvert. It's taking the signal and stepping it up to 480i,780i, or in some cases 1080i (depending on your TV's capabilities). Not giving it the p range which is the premium picture. The color of the case isn't a big issue for me. Look if you want HD in any format buy it online...games, movies, videos, or whatever. I don't care about the next wave of DVD, I think any of them is doomed to fail because of IPTV, ITV(Apple), and various other cable and sattelite providers will stream it straight to your TV or TIVO. People nowadays don't want them (DVD's) collecting dust or being just something else to move. Look if you have a HDTV trade it in, if not keep it and have fun too.

Everything I have ready still puts a Black xBox 360 as a rumor. Nothing has been confirmed yet.

I won't trade it in, but I'm pretty sure to get a black one
