just wondering. i think both! i like them when i'm in the bath or in the living room but all over the bedroom is way too cheesy

I think they're romantic. Well, it depends on the situation. I don't use them in the bathroom, but do have them in the living room or on the dining room table, etc. And a few in the bedroom. I did date a guy who would always light a couple of candles in the bedroom when we made out. I liked that idea, because I thought that having the glaring overhead lights was just too sterile, I guess, not romantic enough, and I wasn't a fan of doing it in the dark either, because then you really can't see what you're doing. So I thought candles were a good compromise. And I love the smokey smell they give off when you blow them out afterwards. So in a situation like that they can be totally romantic and turn me on completely. If they're just sitting around in the living room, like scented candles, that's not really all that romantic.

A few in the bedroom would be romantic and if they were scented it would give a nice effect. Anything can be cheesy if it is over done. For instance lingerie is nice but if you go way too far and look like a drag queen then it is no good.

I th ink that is cheesy too!!! But I like candles but a few years ago I had a few burning all over the house and there was a earthquake and ever since then I really dont burn candles unless Im in the room with them.

I personally like candles, for the scent as well as the romantic look it gives the room. I like them all over, EVEN in the bedroom.

A few in the bedroom is nice (candle light covers up many flaws!) but a lot is just cheesy.

I love that when I am at my boyfriends, and I have made dinner, got some music on, that when I light loads of candles, it gives his flat a more cosy feel. Never had them in the bedroom because there is no where to put them, but I would be soo scared of setting something on fire.
I agree with you, it can be both.
