Just some of them. And most of them are acting "quirky" because they think artists are supposed to. They are playing the part.
Trust me on this- almost everyone I know is an artist.

I would say some of them. It takes imagination and much more to be a great artist, although there are many types of artists which take less quirkyness to complete their visuals.

Not all artists are quirky. It just seems that way because of the art that they come up with. They are full of technique and willing to experiment.

Definitely. Artists are artists not just because of what they do, but also because of the way they think. Anyone who thinks differently is often appears peculiar to the ordinary folk, that is certain.

i am an artist and i enjoy being considered different or "quirky". it is a way of thinking, i have a different outlook on everything and see the world through eyes some may never know.it's not something we strive to be. it's just the way some of us are, but i cannot speak for all of them.
